Travel to Aberdeen:

The City of Aberdeen is part of the Scotland and from the capital city Edinburgh, it is 3 hours of travel by bus/Car. From London, there are direct as well as connecting flights. We went there during summer and the weather was ideal between 16 to 18 degrees . Being at the sea shore, you will feel some amount of humidity, but overall it is nice.

Aberdeen is situated at the shores of North sea, famous for its traditional buildings, arts and crafts. Also visit nearby city Edinburgh.

When I say Aberdeen, my first recall is the beach which is very long with corridors of long walkways, a very large car park, green lawns etc.,

We parked our vehicle in the 11'o clock in the morning and took a long stroll around the beach. The experience was awesome with a nice weather and lot of the tourists thronging the beach being a sunday.

We had one or two sandwiches and a milkshake which filled our stomach and rest of the time, we as a group went around the beach and had a nice time along with fellow tourists.

These beautiful human friendly creatures can be seen at Aberdeen harbour. I was also told that, there is Dolphin watch centre, which will open this year - Sometime in 2020.

I was told by fellow tourists that, dolphins can also be seen at Cove Bay, Chanonry Point and Spey Bay.

If you are lucky, you can get to see one or two having a cool time at the sea or playing around with fellow mates. Atleast make an attempt to see this wonderful, intelligent species.

Aberdeen Marine museum:

Our next stop post lunch was at the Marine museum, which is at the heart of the city near to the harbour at a place called - Shiprow.

We could spend around couple of hours watching the sea farers equipments and other items such as coins, fine art pieces and others. If you have lot of time at your disposal, you can peacefully spend 3 - 4 hours watching Arts pieces, Coins, medals and old marine equipments.

Well known as Marine museum, this building houses lot of collections of various interests including several artefacts.

Cameras & Pictures:

Our next hop off was Aberdeen King's college and it has a beautiful botanical gardens. We spend some time there and then visited the Duthie park which is 3 miles away from the college. The botanical garden is beautiful with water streams and variety of flowers.

The Duthie park is one of the hall mark places of Aberdeen spread over an area of 40+ Acres.

There are variety of flowers, splendid gardens to small forest and water streams. The Dee river which flows nearby gives a panoramic view. Spend some time near the Dee River in a natural atmosphere, There is a scenic railway line crossing and waterways nearby. It was a marvellous experience though.
