Graduate Study Options in India
Higher Education:
Graduates from Universities of India (Approved by UGC) complete a full time programme in 3 years and Engineering, medical and Dental courses in 4 years. Graduates of Humanities, maths, Law and science with additional skills command a salary of Rs 2 to 3 lakhs at the entry level.
The Doctors, Engineers and Dentists command anywhere between 3 to 6 lakhs at the entry level. Gradutes in Humanities, Maths and Science need to focus on other employable skills (Ex: Tech) for better opportunities and salary.
While choosing the Graduation, decide along with your parents whether, you will pursue post graduate studies or will end up in employment. This is one of the key decision and there are degrees available along with Job related orientations such as Computer courses, Basic English speaking, Doing some projects other than graduation etc., will land you in a job.
