The Edinburgh - A City of Traditions
The Travel with full of good memories:
One of the most beautiful cities of the world and famous for its tradtions and great culture. Scotland is famous for its distinct dress - Kilt, The Pipers & their drummer's band - Gaelic, Scottish Whskey and so on.
Eventhough our stay was quite short and sweet during a long weekend, it is a most memorable travel a person could make during his/her lifetime. Edinburgh has large number of tourist attractions.
Edinburgh is a city full of vibrancy and colour. I am not overstanding that. But true. There are many offshore islands which are very splendid but we could not visit any of them. If you are making it to Scotland visit atleast one them.
The other one of them, the entire state is full of Castles and there are lots and lots of stories around these. One of the peculiar thing the city offers is, it has something to offer for everybody - A People of different tastes. Therefore, don't forget to travel to the beautiful city of Edinburgh. Also visit nearby city - Aberdeen.

Cultural pictures:
The weekends were so hectic, with so many places to visit. A beautiful traditional attire, melodious bagpiper music and drums made the entire evening of one of the sundays very beautiful.
A great experience of meeting people of different cultures across the world.. But irrespective of people's background, all of them loved the dance. This was followed by a nice supper at one of the choicest restaurants.

Kilt - High land dress - Scotland traditional Skirt for Men - You see some of them. Scots are very friendly

The National art gallery Edinburgh fulfills the tastes of Artists and Art connoisseurs. We were awed by the sheer collections of different shapes and sizes. If you love the fine arts, this is something you should not miss!
In both the places, there may be thousands of collections of significance well laid on large canvas to life size art pieces. It comes a great visual feed to our eyes, and every art piece is so uniquely placed by the museums. A great place!
National Museum of Scotland:
A large museum having collections across Scottish culture, history and also antique items of wider interests.
The nature's collections are extensive. We spent more than 6 hours at the galleries.
You may have to plan well in advance so that, you can spend the time effectively at the Museum. If you taking your children along, it will be a wonderful experience and end up answering to lots of questions from your children.
The Construction itself is so well done, it attracts your attention immediately. Since, the museum is located at the centre of the town, there are no safety or commuting challenges.

Our cameras in Action:
Our final visit at Edinburgh were to two distinct places. First of St. Giles cathedral which is there from 11th century.
The interiors are exceptionally beautiful. Images carved on stained glasses of Christ image on the cross, is something to be seen there, plus every interior is exceptionally done.
The final one was to the Royal Botanical Garden - Which is spread over 72 acres. A wide variety of Trees and flowers are aesthetic and beautiful. Your family spend of 3-4 hours in the garden is worth the time in breeze.
