5G Mobile Technologies
Introduction:
5G otherwise known as 5th Generation mobile technology uses higher radio frequencies of 28 ghz compared to 700 mhz - 2500 mhz for 4G. It transfers data 100 times faster than 4G, reduced mobile traffic congestion.
5G is expected to provide connectivity to 1 Million customers per square kilometer which is phenomenal as compared to 4G. On a overall basis, this is going to impact our lives in the near future as it is impacting many of the western countries now.
How do I better understand 5G?
5G is the next generation wireless network technology faster than LTE. This is not going to replace 4G but will live along with it.
5G phones will be able to receive calls & data under 4G or other lower grade spectrum technologies. It transfers the data in much faster speed with higher penetration and thereby, the urban areas which are densely populated with building will receive better coverage and data in the new eco system.
5G will not eliminate WIFI technology which are available 4G phones. In the new environment, 5G service providers may offer WIFI as one of the service offerings.
Companies like Samsung and OnePlus are already manufacturing and marketing 5G phones in countries like United Kingdom.
