Post Graduate Study Options in India
Post Graduates from Universities of India (Approved by UGC) complete a full time programme in 2 years and Engineering, medical and Dental courses in 2 years. PGs of Humanities, maths, Law and science with additional skills command a salary of Rs 2 to 5 lakhs at the entry level.
The Doctors, Engineers and Dentists command anywhere between 5 to 8 lakhs at the entry level. Post Gradutes in Humanities, Maths and Science need to focus on other employable skills (Ex: Tech) for better opportunities and salary.
In the current level of competition, post graduates need to have distinct skills for rightful employment. Computer skills on market demanding programming, good conversational skills in English, Ability to move across cities, learning softskills are all the key.
