Metropolis Chicago:
The Lake city of Chicago on the shores of Michigan is one of the largest and lively cities of United states. With hundreds of kilometers to the length and bredth of the city, the place is one of the important place of Traveller's liking in his/her life time.
The city has closer to 3 Million population with a large financial centers, educational institutions of repute, place famous for Art, Culture and for the Collossal Museums.
A magnificent city for a traveller, the city offers plenty of options for site seeing, walking, shopping, enjoying boat rides, skating, sport clubs for American base ball to various others. I was fortunate to travel to this great city, and my reminicenses are as green as I travelled Yesterday!! Other nearby cities Detroit & Niagra falls.
Willis Towers - A Tallest Tower:
Known as Sears towers, this was one of the tallest buildings in the world and I always liked to visit the place which materialized after 15 Years of my liking.
The building has 113 floors and closer to 450 meters of height. People are well treated and easy access to the site is made available.
The magnificent building construction started in the year 1970 and one of the well known address in the city of Chicago.
We fortunately visited, the 103rd floor which is fully made of glasses - The floor, walls and ceilings. A clear bonus of sight to the visitors.
Millenium park:
A magnificent public park which is frequented by many travellers and a nice place to keep in our itenery.
It is quiet safe to visit the place and go around since there are many tourists around until evening hours.
There are plenty of options for travellers including skating, Taking pictures of monuments and to stroll around the place.
If you are travelling to chicago, do not miss the opportunity to visit this place.
History & Field Museum:
A Museum of Natural history, it was founded in the year 1893 and boasts 100+ years of history.
We could see the history of the past civilizations including Egypt to Mayan's. There are excellent collections of relics across geology, anthrapology, biology and botany related flora and fauna and exceptionally well preserved.
Apart from this, Chicago has Museum of Arts, Museum of Science and industry, & an oriental museum.
However, we could not visit the other museums given limited time available and a busy office schedule next day!!
Michigan Lake Riverside & Cycling:
A huge lake with 50000+ kilometers of area and the shores touches many cities of USA. We can call it - A beautiful sea!!
An evening walk on the Chicago riverside is a life long liking to do for any body. My travel during spring made it and enjoyed the beautiful weather.
A stroll around the michigan lake during the summer with a wonderful breeze blowing is a nice experience of life.
The lake adds beauty to many cities, wherever it touches and cleaniless with which the Americans maintain is appreciable!
Chicago Skyline:
The city boasts one of the most beautiful skyline around the world. Very beautiful and spectacular buildings, a wave of colors, the beautiful lake, well laid motarable roads are all the + the city has.
I was spell bound by the beauty of Michigan avenue and the beaming lights in the night. This was a wonderful experience, I would cherish it as a life long memory.
The Navy piere is one another important tourist spot to visit, and I did not miss in my itenery. Cameras will be spell bound with its pictures!
The giant wheel and the beautiful sorroundings will never allow you to miss that memorable place!
Shopping - Water Tower Place:
A collosal shopping complex with hudreds and thousands of sq feet area shows the pomp and exuberance of American's dream.
For shoppers, there are plenty of options to buy until your wallet goes dry. Even if you dont want to buy anything, still do a window shopping and spend your beautiful evening at this place.
Doing Big and Doing Great, is one of the greatest achievement, a human would like to do in his life time. This tall shopping mall is a standing testimony to that unparallel life goal!!
